The Tipi

Sitting in a tipi by I fire I created,
Pondering the events, leaving me elated,
This journey so fulfilling, so rich, so pure, and so true,
The path to authenticity, through nature, me, and you
To connect with this country,
The cosmos, and our core,
Makes us realise that we are here for so much more,
So much more to give, and so much more to receive,
Everything we need in our reach,
So much more than we perceive,
How can I capture this moment,
And replay every minute detail in time,
Revisit these emotions, this gratitude, so sublime,
Fire always brings me back to a feeling of safety and peace,
The warmth, the glow, the sound, and the smell,
Feelings of contentment continually increase,
It’s comforting to know i’ll always have the fire,
To return to a place where I can let go of the things that bring me ire,
Connect to the things, my soul desires.
